Billing

Franklin Electric Plant Board mails statements to our customers on a monthly basis. The due
date of the bill will be clearly marked on the statement. Customers will typically receive their
statement in the mail ten days prior to the due date. Failure to receive a statement does not
release customer from payment obligation. Bills not paid by the due date will be assessed a late payment penalty of 5%. A separate disconnect notice will be sent to every account not paid by the due date.

• Night deposit located on the drive thru side of the building.
• Automatic bank draft
• On line Payment via Paperless Billing - a $2.95 convenience fee will be charged

• By telephone at 866-361-8721 - a $2.95 convenience fee will be charged
• You can pay by electronic check – the fee is $2.35.

Bank Draft Payment PIan

Franklin Electric Plant Board offers automatic bank draft payment plan. This plan will draft the amount due on your monthly statement from your checking or savings account on the due date printed on the bill. You will continue to receive a monthly statement marked "Memorandum Do Not Pay".

Levelized Billing Plan

Levelized billing averages your bill based on the history of your usage. This service is free and available to homeowners only. You must have an excellent pay rating for at least 12 months to set up.

• Return Check Charge - $25.00
• Reconnection charge - $60.00 (during office hours), $180.00 (after hours)
• Convenience fee for paying on-line or by telephone - $2.95
